Lafayette is located "over the hill" from Berkeley and Oakland, about 20 miles east of the Oakland International Airport. Guests arriving by air into Oakland or San Francisco can take BART directly to Lafayette or Walnut Creek.
UPDATE 6/13 - WE JUST LEARNED THAT BART WILL NOT BE RUNNING BETWEEN SAN FRANCISCO AND THE EAST BAY ON 8/1 & 8/2. SERVICE BETWEEN OAKLAND AND LAFAYETTE WILL STILL BE ACTIVE.

HOTEL PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
The hotel has only valet parking on site. $15/day, with unlimited
in-and-out privileges. (The link above shows $21/day, but we have
negotiated $15/day for our group).
A complimentary (unmonitored) lot is located across the street from
the hotel on Parkside Drive (near Lawrence Way). Driveway entrance on
Parkside Drive between the Mercedes and Maserati dealerships.
You can also look for parking on the street. Be sure to read the signs.
The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle within a 3-mile radius. Stops
include the Walnut Creek BART station (approximately half a mile from
the hotel) and downtown shops and restaurants.
